Privacy

What we collect

• Your name and email, when you join — so we can show who shared a memory and send you sign-in links.
• What you choose to share — memories, comments, reactions, and any photo you upload.
• A profile photo, only if you add one.
• How you sign in — a securely hashed password (if you set one), or your name/email from Google or Facebook (only if you choose those).
• Limited technical data — your IP address is used briefly to limit spam and abuse, and our host keeps standard security logs.

How we use it

To run the site: to show the memories you and others share, send sign-in and confirmation emails, let a family member welcome new people in, and keep the site safe from spam. That’s it. We never sell your information or share it for advertising.

Cookies

We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, and a small non-sensitive cookie so the header can show your name without a flash. Cloudflare Turnstile (our bot check) may set a cookie to tell humans from bots. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

Services we rely on

• Cloudflare — hosting, photo storage, and bot protection.
• Resend — to send sign-in and confirmation emails.
• Google / Facebook — only if you choose to sign in with them, and only to read your name, email, and profile photo.

Your choices & deleting your data

You can edit or remove any memory you’ve shared at any time from My memories, and update your name, photo, or password in your settings. To delete your account and the information tied to it entirely, email us at HopHop@HazelBryant.com and we’ll take care of it.

Children

This site remembers a child, but it’s meant for adults and older family members to share memories. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
